The last week we were in Pajok, South Sudan we had our first church service! David continues to faithfully teach through the Bible each week. He is currently teaching through the book of Genesis exegetically. The first service we had the pleasure of teaching ~60 people. Only 4 adults attended the first service! The rest were children and teens. Today there are 17+ adults attending plus the children and teens. Praise God that He is drawing them to hear His word being taught! It is rare for a church teach the full council of God's word. Most of the people in South Sudan are illiterate so the only way they can know the word of God is to listen to a Pastor. We all must know the truth so we can worship in truth.
Jesus said in John 4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
Please pray for David as he faithfully teaches God's word to the people so they can know who God is and the great salvation that Jesus Christ has made available.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to draw the people to Jesus Christ, for repentance, and salvation of many!
